PERSIAN BLUE SALT is the rarest and most exclusive salt and is extracted from a salt mine in northern Iran. The intriguing blue color occurs during the forming of the salt’s crystalline structure, as intense pressure is exerted on the salt deposits. The individual crystals fracture the light in an unusual way creating an optical illusion that makes the salt appear more or less shimmering blue.

BENEFITS:

•Ideal for seafood, salads, french cuisine & truffles
•Centerpiece of the dining table
•Add quality flavor onto the dish

How to use

Essential. Enigmatic material, salt is indispensable on the table, so common that we forget it except when the superstition requires not to pass it from hand to hand or to throw a pinch of it behind our shoulders when pouring. Apotropaic gestures, which basically tell us how mysterious salt is. So why not add to these ancient rituals a more current, cheerful one: grate the salt! A gastronomic exercise but also manual, visual and olfactory.
